Sustainable Food Production for Decades
Brim is engaged in the fishing and processing of groundfish and pelagic fish and has operating units in four locations in Iceland. The company employs approximately 800 full-time employees at sea and ashore. We produce high-value products from fresh fish harvested in Icelandic waters.
The products are sold all over the world, with the largest markets being Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. Respect for the environment and the marine ecosystem is the basis for our operations, and every effort is made to respect the resource and operate responsible fisheries, for the benefit of future generations.
Brim has a long history and extensive experience and expertise in the utilisation of natural resources and seafood production, which is reflected in all its activities. Sustainable utilisation of fish stocks has been an important part of the company’s operations since its establishment in 1985 and is a guiding light in our value creation, which utilises development, innovation, quality and a good reputation to increase the value of a limited resource.
